The Palm Desert Graduate Center sponsors a series of programs that unite the resources of the University of California, Riverside with the needs and interests of the people of the Coachella Valley, including these programs:

Business Leaders Roundtable
UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center's Business Leaders Roundtable is a networking group of about 25 invited veteran and up-and-coming local business leaders who meet for lunch once a month to hear a speaker on issues of importance to the business community. The meetings are led by Carolyn Stark, Executive Director, UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center and David Stewart, Dean, A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. -
University Extension
UCR Extension is the continuing education branch of the University of California, Riverside. For more than 50 years UCR Extension has provided educational opportunities to people of all ages seeking professional advancement, personal fulfillment or a new career. Course formats include one-day workshops, weekend conferences, seminars, intensive short courses and classes that meet once a week during the 10-week academic quarter. -
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is designed to provide a stimulating learning experience at a modest cost that enriches the intellectual, social, and cultural lives of people over the age of 50. Courses are limited to OLLI members, so learning takes place in a peer environment.

Learning in Retirement
The Learning in Retirement program (LIR) offers a unique educational opportunity in which peer learning, collaborative leadership, and active member participation are fundamental. The curriculum is chosen and designed by members who are the core of LIR. The non-credit classes are designed for those age 50 and above who want to learn for the pure enjoyment of learning.
