The Heckmann Center in Palm Desert is a teaching and research center of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management of UC Riverside. UCR's Graduate School of Administration was founded in 1970, becoming the Graduate School of Management in 1982 and the Anderson Graduate School of Management in 1994. The MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree program, introduced in 1983, has enjoyed over 20 years of success and growth with loyal and successful alumni. Its graduates have been sought and recruited into important careers in the many sectors of California's diverse economy and indeed throughout the U.S. and beyond.
Graduates of the MBA Program at Palm Desert will become alumni of UC Riverside's Anderson School and will become part of a network of connections of a group that takes great pride in being part of an institution known for excellence and innovation in business education. They will have at their fingertips the full academic reputation and resources of thousands of UCR graduates and alumni and may tap into the resources of UC Riverside's career and placement services, in addition to those of the Heckmann Center itself.
The Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) has forged relationships with external constituencies through the Dean's Leadership Council and throughout the University campus. The School also offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in collaboration with the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, and the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, offered by the College of Engineering.
