You can support UCR Palm Desert, the Coachella Valley’s center for graduate education and the place where students, faculty, supporters and friends gather to advance knowledge and wisdom, tackle society’s challenges and pursue intellectual and personal fulfillment.
Our students create knowledge that will improve lives and communities. Upon graduation, these highly educated scholars enter the California workforce to immediately contribute to the state’s industries, institutions and public service. Generous support by people who care is fundamental to their success. Only a small percentage of UCR’s funding comes from the state; the rest comes from people like you who are committed to helping our youth.
Supporters of UCR often tell us of the joy they feel as they witness deserving young people receiving their degrees, many of whom would not have the slightest chance at higher education without financial assistance. Also through that support, students learn from the finest instructors in classrooms outfitted with the latest in technological teaching tools and research capabilities.
Our supporters are true philanthropists. They wisely choose to make tax-deductible gifts to the university where the effects of their investments are longstanding in the lives of bright, focused students. These philanthropists make it possible for the next generation to become strong contributors and leaders in our democratic society.
